1. The Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan
I read her book The Bookshop on the Corner and loved it. But I don't think I loved that one as much as this one!! OMG!!! I was hooked from the first line to the last! I loved it! I cried like a baby! Zoe is in need of some love and man oh man does she barely get any. I just felt for her! Love this book!! Love this book!!
2. The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller
Okay, so this was an incredible book to read after The Bookshop on the Shore! I was so happy and sad for the main character, Alva, just like I was Zoe! This book featured a strong woman, a beautiful romance, and GHOSTS!! Yay!!! So good!! So very good!!
This is the third or is it the second in the Simon Snow series. These characters are so fun and it's great to get back into their world. Rainbow is a wonderful writer and I'm always so happy to read one of her books.... Though I think Eleanor and Park will always be my favorite!!
4. The Unkindest Tide by Seanan McGuire
Toby Daye. Finished. That's all I need to know. MUST. READ. Devour!! I love being with her and her family. It's like how I feel about reading Phryne Fisher books. I love being here!!
5. Miracle by Connie Willis
I have really enjoyed Connie Willis's Christmas stories and her novella I Met a Traveller in an Antique Land, so I had to read this collection of Christmas stories. Okay, so I had already read most of them. That's okay!! I still love reading her Christmas stories!!
I read 5 books and 5 were by woman, 0 by men, and 0 were translations. My year of reading lots of women and at least 12 translations is going well so far!
