So a global pandemic, state-sanctioned murders of black people, fascist republican antics, massive wildfire destruction, protests in Thailand, an explosion in Beirut, killings in Lagos, war in Armenia and that's just October... I think that the election in 14 days is going to be considered historic no matter what happens because damn! The President has been publicly advocating it be rigged and accusing others of rigging it and encouraging white supremacists to take up arms and that he won't agree to leave peaceable oh and that pandemic that isn't a big deal is because Joe Biden didn't handle things correctly. So if democracy remains intact at the end of this and if we manage not to have a civil war, I think it'll still be considered historic. And it is my fervent hope that we have a nice peaceful transfer of power. Oh my god do I deeply, deeply want that!!!
