61. Thunderboy Jr. by Sherman Alexie
I'm such a big fan of Sherman Alexie's and this book is no exception!! :)

62. Last Stop on Market Street by Matt de La Peña
This is a sweet picture book about a couple of people living in San Francisco.

63. The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

64. The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly
This is a really great book about a little girl discovering science and her calling in a time when people don't want girls to learn any of these things.

65. These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Megan Spooner
This is the first in a trilogy, and it is wonderful! I loved it!!

Books of 2016- Installment #12

56.  Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe
This is a time travel story kind of unlike most I've read. It's a young adult trilogy with aliens as time travelers. Aside from Doctor Who, I don't really recall too many stories where the time traveler is an alien. While I would say I enjoyed it, I don't feel the need to finish the trilogy. Perhaps I will, but I might not.

57.  Quantum Zoo edited by D.J. Gelner & J.M. Ney-Grimm
This is a wonderful collection of science fiction stories with animals (or our treatment of animals) as a central theme. I wasn't sure I would like this since I'm not familiar with the authors, but I loved it!! (And the cover art!!!)

58.  16 Lighthouse Road by Debbie Macomber
This is the first book in the Cedar Cove series. My friend reads it and so I gave it a whirl.

59.  The Girl in the Road by Monica Byrne
Wow! What a ride!! Dark but engaging... Mesmerizing...

60.  Nightbird by Alice Hoffman
This is a sweet children's book. I adore Alice Hoffman's writing, and this one was a delight!
